How your details are used
For buyers who send an inquiry, book a visit or pay for land through an agency that uses MapLand.
Who has your details
The agency whose listing you asked about. They decide how your details are used and you can contact them directly. MapLand stores the details for the agency and does not sell or share them with anyone else.
What is kept
The name, phone number, email (if you gave one) and message you sent, the property you asked about, site visits booked with you, and, if you buy, your payments and receipts.
Why
So the agent can reply to you on WhatsApp or by phone, arrange site visits, and, if you buy, keep a record of your payment plan and send receipts and your title deed.
How long
For as long as the agency needs it to deal with you, and payment records for as long as the law requires them to be kept.
Your rights
You can ask the agency to show you what they hold about you, correct it, or delete it (payment records the law says must be kept are the exception). Contact the agent or the agency on the number shown on the listing.
